Faith Fact: God gave me Jesus.
Faith Verse: John 14:6, “Jesus told him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.’”
Bible Story: Matthew 1:21–23 & Luke 2:25–32

1. Have you ever made a promise to some- one before?
2. Have you ever broken a promise you made to someone? What happened?
3. Has anyone ever made a promise to you and then broken the promise?
4. How does it feel to have someone break a promise he or she made to you?
5. What is your favorite promise from God? Why?
6. Do you believe in God’s promises? Why or why not?

Prayer: Dear God, thank You for giving us Your promises and sending Your Son, Jesus, to take the punishment for the wrong things we have done. We love You. Amen.
